Battery-Operated M-Bus Gateway with Pressure Sensor Support
The NETNOVA Battery-Operated M-Bus Gateway is an ultra-low power communication device designed for infrastructure without wired electricity. It supports M-Bus connectivity to water, gas, or thermal energy meters and integrates with pressure sensors through M-Bus or analog signal interfaces.
Data is transmitted wirelessly over LoRaWAN or NB-IoT to the cloud for central management and analytics. Housed in a waterproof IP68 enclosure, this gateway is ideal for underground pits, rural deployments, and inaccessible metering points with a battery life of 3-5 years.
Product Features:
-
M-Bus master interface for up to 10 devices
-
Pressure sensor support via M-Bus or analog input
-
Uplink via LoRaWAN or NB-IoT with payload encryption
-
Magnetic switch for manual activation without opening
-
Long-life industrial battery (5–7 years field operation)
-
IP68-rated enclosure for underground/wet installation
-
Data storage for non-connected fallback mode

Use Cases:
-
Remote water/gas meter reading in agriculture or utilities
-
Pressure monitoring in buried pipelines
-
Metering in hard-to-wire urban areas or retrofit zones
