Building Alarm
Management Gateway

The NETNOVA Building Alarm Management Gateway is designed to unify and digitize alarm data from various systems within a facility. It connects to fire alarm panels, elevators, escalators, HVAC units, water pumps, and any BMS-connected subsystem using dry contact (VFC) or communication protocols.

Alarms are transmitted in real-time via NB-IoT, LTE-M, or Ethernet to cloud dashboards or building control rooms. The gateway provides event logging, relay-based outputs for automated actions, and API integration with SCADA, CMMS, or Smart City platforms.

Product Features:

  • 16x Volt-Free Contact (VFC) inputs for multi-zone alarm monitoring

  • 4x Relay outputs for remote-triggered actions

  • Ethernet, NB-IoT, LTE-M, and Dual SIM cellular connectivity

  • Supports Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, BACnet IP/MSTP

  • Local display with status LEDs and alarm indicators

  • Optional battery backup for power outage resilience

Use Cases:

  • Fire alarm monitoring

  • Elevator fault reporting

  • Escalator system alerts

  • Pump station fault detection

  • Water tank level alarms

  • Gas detection system integration

  • Power system failure notification

Benefits:

  • Centralizes monitoring of all building system alarms into a single interface

  • Reduces manual checks through automated alarm forwarding to cloud or BMS

  • Speeds up maintenance response via real-time alerts and relay actions

  • Enhances integration with existing BMS or smart building platforms

  • Enables audit trail and alarm history for regulatory compliance

  • Scalable and protocol-flexible for new or legacy buildings
